April Showers Bring May Flowers!

These pictures are a little bit out of chronological order but oh well!  We went on a lovely beach vacation last week to Fort Walton Beach in Florida.  We went with our friends, the Mohans from Mississippi!  Once again the girls loved the beach and ocean!
They also love their new Jasmine bathing suits!   For all who are curious, I am not intentionally dressing them alike.  I have not been able to pick out their clothes for a long time.  They enjoy dressing alike and always choose their own outfits.

In the ocean with their new buddy, Carson Mohan!

A sand angel - nice!

Resting at the pool - fun in the sun is exhausting!

Harper liked the play area beside the pool the best.

Carson trying to keep his trunks up!  Finally, he got a new pair in size 2 - he is three - and they stayed up!

Carson, Laurie, and a glimpse of baby Sawyer - nine months!

Ahoy - look who thinks she is the Captain!

The girls tried karate last week at the gym where Matt takes martial arts class.  They were a little nervous about being the only girls but that wore off quickly.  They have been practicing their kicks on Matt - priceless!  In a side note, they also tried tennis and loved it!

Coach Matt and the royal team - go blue!  My secret thought - thank God soccer is over!

When Aunt Sammie was here, we had a wild party while babysitting Teddy and Leo so Aunt Lisette and Uncle Shae could go out a celebrate Lisette's 29th Birthday.  It got a little crazy when Scooby Doo showed up with his unicorn pegasus, and Teddy started hulu hooping!

Wait hold the phone - Is that Teddy dressed like Ariel the mermaid?  Somebody cut those kids off!  Aunt Sammie holding every kid but her own!  Baby Jesus was already asleep and saying prayers for his wild cousins!

At Uncle Shae's and Aunt Lisette's house the day after, everyone is ready to go again and corrupt Baby Maverick!  Baby Maverick stayed with the Weinsteins all week, and we had a great time!

The girls took some pictures of our beautiful vegetation and plant life in our backyard.

Where's Harper??? Can you find her?

Harper at gymnastics, and Finley as the photographer.

Nice tuck position, Harper.

Nice pike position...

Just chill in...

Some pictures from Finley's gymnastics performance which I missed because I was in Nashville running a half marathon in the pouring rain!

Finley and her friend, Ava skipping to the music.

And finally the dance recital!!!  This is the rehearsal the night before.  The girls performed at the 14th Street Theater in Atlanta - tres fancy!

Sorry, these are dark - Harp's danced to the opening song from Tangled -
"When will my life begin".

Finley was a Rockin Robin for her tap number!

And last but not least, we went back to the Fickle Pickle - a favorite downtown Roswell restaurant of ours!  Uncle Shae took us there last summer when we visited the area!  Girls are wearing their new cowgirl boots I got them in Nashville.  My friend, Katie and I got some, too, and they are awesome!

Easter and Spring Fun!

Hello All!  We will begin with our first MOMS club event - a chilly Easter egg hunt!  There is Aunt Lisette, Leo, Teddy, and Harper in the 3 and under egg hunt.

Run Harper!

Finley was ready to go for the over 3 hunt!

We had the Hoscheks over for egg dying - Lisette's, Teddy's, and Leo's first time egg dying!  Lisette was ready to get really creative - next year we will try again!

This is known in our house as the double piggy back ride.

Alas, we said good bye to the Lexus...and I am officially uncool, 40, and driving the minivan.  While I was cleaning the car out, Jack hopped in and would not get out.  It is the only car he has ever known.  Farewell kayak rack.

Here comes Easter morning...look it is the Easter Bunny!

Aunt Sammie, Grandpa Steve, Cousin Maverick, and Cousin Oliver came for a visit.  We had a little bbq, and Matt got to use his new, big, green egg!

Our neighbor Morgan joined us for the day, too.

Aunt Sammie, Grandpa Steve, and I went to the Cubs game on Saturday night - BOO!  It was a beautiful night though.  Shae and Teddy went Friday night - BOO!  And to cap it off, the Weinstein clan went Sunday - BOO!  The girls did enjoy there first MLB/Cubs game despite wondering why they are suppose to like the Cubs.  After this weekend, I am encouraging them not to.

Sunday was gorgeous, and we saw the Bud horses because the NCAA final four was in town.

Before the game...

Finley took these pictures.  We were not in the sun much to Matt's dismay.

Harper took a little cat nap for a couple of innings.
The girls are obsessed with the Chick-fil-a Cows that are all around town on billboards and sponsor PBS.  When they saw the giant one at Turner field, they were excited!

Finley and Harper have gotten a lot of use out there rain ponchos that Grandma Liz and Grandpa Joel brought back from England for them last fall.

Finally, Harper and Finley used markers to become zebras - enough said!!!!
