Our May and June have both been very exciting! We had two, count them, two visitors back-to-back! First, Nana Pat came all the way from Iowa to visit/help Matt take care of the girls while I went to Cleveland to run my marathon and hang out with my dad! This picture does not reflect Nana helping with the girls but taking the easy way out and bonding with two old grand dogs!
I don't exactly know what happened while I was gone, but this is a midday nap in which Harper is still in her PJs and sparkle shoes. Did she go somewhere like that? I don't want to know.

My good friend, Julie Atkinson arrived right as Nana was leaving. She got to attend Finley's dance recital, too.
So nervous - NOT!
Finley's class danced to the Little Mermaid song that Sebastian sings - hence, the red/lobster costumes. We were not allowed to take pictures at or video the recital - we had to buy that right. Pictures will not be ready until next week, and the video will be ready in August! Don't hold your breath!
Jack loves to bond with visitors especially during thunderstorms!!! Julie was also allowed to go on countless dog walks and watch Harper a lot while I ran Finley to school, dance, swim lessons, etc... I really got spoiled having both visitors to help!!!!!
Julie had been traveling around the world this past year, and the Weinsteins was the last stop! So, the girls and I took her to the big city of Toronto, and Matt took us all to Niagara Falls, too! Here we are on the ferry ride to Center Island in Toronto.
That is the CN tower behind the girls! It was beautiful day, and we ended it with Bloody Caesars(Canada's Bloody Mary) followed by beers beside the lake. Don't worry we took the train back to Oakville - and the girls, we didn't forget them even though Harper slept through the drinks! Finley had a Shirley Temple!
