Back in the USA!

Before we left Canada, each girl had their parent viewing for ballet.  First up was Miss Finley.  The girl on Finley's right is named Victoria, and this marked the third year Finley and she had class together.  I became good friends with her mom, Linda, too.  We were sad to say good-bye to them.  Linda and I had a laugh after class about how after three years and a lot of money, we actually saw real ballet moves this year.  Also, Finley went to Victoria's birthday party right before we moved and had a blast.

Who knew a feather could be so fascinating!

Finley and Victoria dance together!

Last but not least - Miss Harper's turn to dance for us!  Naturally, Finley has to dance a little, too.

Miss Harper's teacher, Miss Borgheese was also Fin's teacher her first year.   And, Finley took all of the pictures during Harper's class while Matt and I just sat back and watched.

Parachute = FUN!

Finley the photographer was a little distracted by her horse, Penny.

We made it to Georgia and went to the mall play area with Aunt Lisette, Teddy, and Leo.  Finley also took the two following pictures.

Leo did not want his picture taken while he was trying his first food - that is Shae's arm by the way.  I didn't want anyone to think Lisette has man hands.  The Hoscheks let us stay for a couple of days while we waited for Matt and the dogs and the boxes to arrive despite the fact that we brought Canadian germs into their house.  I think everyone was sick over the next two weeks or so minus Shae and Matt.

Once again Finley the photographer was back in action.  She was artistically motivated by the combination of our toys and Teddy's toys.  These two pictures were chosen out of the 20 or so she actually took.

Gabby - Hurricane Irene survivor and Penny - this is her first move - pose together.

Our new backyard is awesome and the dogs love it as much if not more than the girls as you will soon see.

Finley's actual birthday was a bummer because Matt was out of town and Harper and I were heavily medicated and their were movers in our house all day.  Two days later on Valentine's Day, we rallied and celebrated at the Cheesecake Factory!

Dixie is the world's most quirky dog!  FYI, after this, all three have been spotted lying in the greenery.

At the Hoscheks for dinner while Grandpa Steve visited!  Grandpa Steve installed our dog door, put some new shelves together for the playroom, and helped will many other fix-it jobs around the house - THANKS AGAIN, Grandpa Steve!  Now if we could only get this band to play some Bob Seger for you!

Harper on drums, Teddy on lead guitar, Finley on bass guitar, and Leo fronts this motley crew - it is not easy being the lead singer!

Off the Nashville we went to celebrate Maverick's first birthday as you can see by his expensive hat!

We enjoyed his toys - old and new - more than he did!  In fact, while he napped, Grandpa Steve put many of the new ones together, so Harper and Finley could try them out.

Back to our awesome yard complete with trampoline and swing set and another beautiful day.   Finley poses while Grandpa Steve picks up sticks from a previous day's storm.

Harper helped pick up sticks while Dixie observed.

Finley takes my picture!

Thanks again Grandpa for everything!
