September, October, and November - Harper's 6th Birthday!

Hello, All!  Are you ready for a crazy blog that may be - as usual - a little out of order?  Here goes...  Matt and I celebrated our 14th wedding anniversary with a Braves/Yankees game.  Yes, it was the game where the man freakishly fell to his death - RIP; however, we were blissfully unaware until our way home on MARTA.

Cousin Maverick, Oliver, and Aunt Sammie came for Labor Day weekend, and we had lots of fun.

Look, Mom - no helmet!  Am I the worst aunt or what?

It was Uncle Shae's Bday in September, and Aunt Lisette really kicked butt on the cake.  It looked exactly like a compost pile complete with worms, garbage, etc...  If you know my brother, it was perfect.  It also tasted very delicious.

We went to the end of summer festival at the local high school with cousins.  Finley and Harper duked it out.

Harper is almost down...

but she rallied.

Two beagles in a bed - Montana and Oliver slept with Matt and I - aaaahhhh

My stepfather, Jim passed away in September after a long battle with cancer.  We know he is in a better place and free of pain now.  I flew back for the funeral and got to stay with these two monkeys, Cousin Amy and Cousin Grant.  RIP - Jim Geren

At school, they had a big festival and movie night outdoors, and the girls and I had a great time!

Finley and I were all ready to watch the movie around 8:30, but Harper was ready for nigh nigh, so home we went.

Fall festival at church - super fun rock climbing wall!  Matt - the nonreligious person - appreciated that everything was free - including the food and beer!

Jack is his favorite hangout - the girls' playroom.  Pink is his color!

Girls' school shirts  - that fit me!

In October we went to NYC - the big apple and had a blast!  On the ferry to see Miss Liberty!

You think all the yoga I have been doing would have helped me to relax my neck a little!

Ellis Island

St. Patrick's cathedral

Empire State Building

NYC library

Best part of trip - Aladdin on Broadway!  It was amazing.  Harper quote, "The carpet is really flying!"

We took Eloise to the Plaza!

Central Park

US Post Office - for Grandpa Steve

Class of 2028 - say what?!

Fun at the pumpkin patch

Back to NYC - eating hot dogs on the street!

More ferry and Miss Liberty

One World Trade Center and infinity pools - amazing!

High Five to the Cubbies for a great year!  And, wait until next year, baby!

Halloween at the Country Club of Roswell - Fifties girl and Princess Super Sparkle!

Trick or treating with cousins - Teddy, Leo, and Baby Charlie - from the PAW Patrol!

Jack in the bed...

He is then joined by his sister, Montana who turned 15 in September!

Guess who turned the perfect age?  Harper turned 6?

Finley made her a banner and a crown that said world's best sister!

Off to American Girl for a fancy dinner at the bistro with her first American Girl, Grace.

Big Birthday Fun!  All the girls from Harper's kindergarten class attended along with two other kindergarten girls from the bus, and our good friend, Elly the second grader.  They got their nails, hair, and makeup done, and then, put on a runway show, ate pizza and cake.  Great party!

Finley and Elly

I went to Finley's 2nd grade class for pumpkin math, and this is what our group created!

Some more bday and party to end the blog!

She has wanted this doll for a long time!

Birthday fun with Hoscheks!

Cousin hug
