Hello all! We made a trip to the African Lion Safari in Hamilton, Ontario this summer, and it was way better than any zoo and I dare say - the Animal Safari at Disney. Here, we are watching the elephants get their bathes. The girls really liked the fact that if the elephants tried to get out of the water, there was a dog that barked at them to stop.
Finley had a fun pony ride on a horse that closely resembles both Maximus from Tangled, Donkey from Shrek, and of course - our dog, Jack aka Jacksimus. Harper was asleep - so no pony ride for her.
We really enjoyed the elephant show - only 20 minutes and filled with fun!
After the elephant show, we decided to take an elephant ride. Harper insisted (screamed and cried) that we had to ride "Lily" from the show. We all - including the workers - reassured her repeatedly that we were riding Lily. Someday she will understand the star of the show does not have time to give rides - but not anytime soon!
The girls are just full of imagination - a train of babies! Look who the conductor is....big surprise!
The playroom is now open to all and the dogs are ofter found smelling around in there - yes - dog hair is now a major presence in there as well as muddy paws!
Harper continues to sporadically sneak away and nap! Not on Sissy's chair - not a smart choice, Harper!
Finley's first day of Junior Kindergarten-Canada's free preschool!

First day of ballet for Harper Paige! She was dancing in the lobby!
After dance, we had to celebrate with Ronald McDonald naturally!
Finley watching Harper dance - she really wanted to be in there with her little sister. Personally, I would not wish that on any teacher, friend, or even enemy.
Harper's teacher is Ms. Borgheese - who was also Finley's teacher two years ago - she is moving quickly toward sainthood.
Harper started nursery school about 3 weeks after Finley started JK. These pictures were taken after Harper's first day. I can't remember a time when they napped together - maybe Disney.

We purchased Cinderella this week. After watching it for the first time, Finley made her own dress for the ball.
